Artist Denise Love McDaid to Present Sculpture Exhibit at Chestnut Hill College
McDaid’s work is inspired by natural forms and by her delight in working with clay. Seed pods, vegetables, faces, gestures; there is always an organic reference point but sometimes the end result is an expression of an essential quality or emotion, while other times forms are more recognizable. McDaid investigates the tension between whimsy and formal design elements, movement and meditation.
The art exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Margie Thompson, SSJ, M.F.A. at 215.248.7042.or firstname.lastname@example.org.
