Lincoln Financial Field
Lincoln Financial Field Philadelphia is the current home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. First opening its doors to the public in 2003, the Lincoln Financial Field has an impressive seated capacity of 68,532 – closer to 70,000 when you factor in standing room.
In addition to the Eagles, the venue is also home to the MAC’s Temple Owls, and the MLS’ Philadelphia Union. While the tenants’ home games do form a large part of the Lincoln Financial Field schedule, the venue’s size and state-of-the-art technology also make it an ideal venue for other, large scale entertainment events. For example, in 2004, the Lincoln Financial Field played host to some of the matches from the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Of course, the Lincoln Financial Field schedule isn’t only about sports…Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Taylor Swift have all played concerts at the venue.
